Barry McGeee è nato a San Francisco nel 1966. Ha studiato pittura all'Istituto d'arte di San Francisco, completando un BFA nel 1991. Il prossimo anno le opere di Barry McGee saranno il soggetto di una retrospettiva al Berkeley Museum, USA.
