OH, Columbus: June 4 - Aug 27, 2011: Comngraf 3: Breaking Boarders

COMnGRAF 3: Breaking Boarders is art that showcases HIP HOP culture through the cross cultural influence between Comic Book art and Graffiti art. This exhibition will showcase the collaborative grouping of both sequential and aerosol art by world renowned comic book artist and legendary graffiti artists. Simply stated, it is "the fusion of two cultures" celebrating the influence that each has on the other.

At the Columbus Arts Festival on June 4th - August 27th 2011. Opening reception is on Sat June 4th 6pm - 10pm.

OH, Cincinnati: August 16, 2010: Street Art and Graffiti Panel Discussion

CAC Director Raphaela Platow will moderate an engaging panel discussion on the role of street art and graffiti in today's society, followed by a question and answer session. The program is open to the public and admission is free courtesy of Macy's Free Mondays.

Panelists are Pedro Alonzo (Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand curator), Christian Strike (founder of Country Club and Iconclast Productions) and Eric Felisbret (graffiti historian, co-founder of http://at149st.com/ and author of "Graffiti New York")

OH, Columbus: June 12-30, 2010: Flight Club

Flight Club

This Saturday June 12th marks the 3rd annual Solo show by Coreroc. This year Ashey has chosen flight as the aesthetic for his new series. All of the works in this series are hand crafted panels. A sneak peek of the works can be found in this month's 614 magazine Gallery Space article.

This event will feature a private showing on June 12th from 6:30 to 8pm. If you would like to request to attend this preview and artist's reception, email coreroc@gmail.com and if room is still available you will receive a confirmation reply. After 8pm the venue is open to the public and all are welcome to come mingle and view this new series of works.

If you can't attend this opening you can schedule a time for a personal viewing with the artist by emailing coreroc@gmail.com before the end of June.
Also note that July 1st Coreroc will be opening his solo show title PolyGraf "The Truth About Art" at the ARTillery Gallery in the South Campus Gateway.
