For two days in June, La Grande Schmierâge networks the international Graffiti-scene. After the huge success of the first Schmierâge in 2007, the Hall of Fame (railway underpass Unsernherrn, Klein-Salvator-Str. Ingolstadt), that is accepted for Graffiti since 1995, will again be completely designed over a period of several days.
Friday, June 11th 2010
- starting 8 p.m.: warm-up at Café Tagtraum
Saturday, June 12th 2010
- 9 a.m.: Graffiti action (all-day), Hall of Fame
- 3 p.m.: official opening
- starting 10 p.m.: aftershowparty at suxul Club
Sunday, June 13th 2010
- starting 9 a.m.: Graffiti action
- 4 p.m. official end
Line-Up
Amongst the 60 sprayers are internationally renowned Graffiti artists like LOOMIT, WOW123, SatOne and DEMS from Spain. SUIKO is the one with the longest journey - he comes from Hiroshima / Japan. You will find the complete list and photos at: www.la-grande-schmierage.de.
supporting programme
Overwhelming sun (in planning stage) and DJs in the middle of the underpass are part of the standard programme as well as the vespertine aftershow parties at suxul club - this year: please welcome DJ Mirko Machine and DJ Coins.
documentation and exhibition
The volatileness of the artworks through repaint can be depicted as quite normal within the graffiti scene and the Hall of Fame´s daily grind will also cover the Schmierâge-works by and by. But Schmierâge 2 will live on as it will be attended by photographers and a camera crew and subsequently will be presented in an exhibition at the foyer of Sparkasse Ingolstadt. The date of the exhibition opening will be announced soon.
