About the Book
Street Art New York, by Steven P. Harrington and Jaime Rojo, with a foreword by Carolina A. Miranda, published in April 2010 by Prestel Publishing (Random House).
The authors of the successful Brooklyn Street Art book (and founders of BrooklynStreetArt.com) expand their scope and take readers on a fast-paced run through the streets of New York, along the waterways, on the rooftops, and up the walls of today's ever-morphing vibrant Street Art scene as only NYC can tell it.
With an introduction by noted cultural journalist Carolina A. Miranda (C-Monster.net) putting Street Art in the context of the personal experience of a New Yorker, readers will be taken aback by this compelling portrait of the state of urban art featuring work on the streets of New York from 102 artists from around the world. With a collection of aproximately 200 images by exciting new comers as well as beloved "old masters" such as
New Yorkers: Swoon, Judith Supine, Dan Witz, Faile, Skewville, WK Interact
L.A.'s Shepard Fairey
Brazil's Os Gemeos, Ethos
Denmark's Armsrock
France's Space Invader, C215, Mr. Brainwash
Germany's Herakut
Belgium's ROA
London's Nick Walker, Connor Harrington, and the infamous Banksy.

The Exchange
Berlin Exhibition – Book Tour
Acclaimed graffiti collective The Exchange bring their dynamic style dialogue to Berlin with a group exhibition at Common Ground Gallery to mark the release of On The Run Book #8, The Exchange. The book like the exhibition is jam-packed with expert style antics as members trade sketches and rock diverse styles outside of their usual comfort zones. Don’t miss the chance to see this visual style assault up close and personal. Members present will be more than happy to sign copies of the book at the exhibition opening.

STICKER PHIENDS 2010
Phoenix, Arizona (April 2010) - Street/Gallery artist "Mad One" will team up this year with Studio 8 to host the first ever "Sticker Phiends", a showcase of local and international sticker artists for a third year in a row. The show will feature stickers and other forms of street/gallery art. This year there will be interactive activities (Pay phone set-ups),a piñata full of goods, street/graffiti art movie screening(Day in the Lyfe), plenty of free giveaways, goodies like energy drinks, clothes, and limited edition screen prints/stickers produced by showcasing artists and much more!…. Make sure you have your ID if you would like some brew provided by our sponsor PBR.
There have been several Graffiti/Urban art themed shows throughout the valley the last few years. This is one of a kind for sure; its name explains itself "Sticker Phiends" an array of street/gallery artists throughout the world. Mad One, a local Arizona based street/gallery artist, had the opportunity to lock down many local and international artists for the show for two years in a row, and this years expectations are growing by the day. "We have artists ranging from New York to California, Israel, U.K. and beyond". "Sticker Phiends" is about the sticker/urban art movement and bringing awareness of stickers and how they have gone from the streets to modern forms of art being displayed in today’s galleries and museums. Mad One, a local street art advocate, has taken on the duty of creating this one of a kind show.
Stickers and sticker art isn’t just for skateboarders and bands/DJ’s anymore, it has become a new way of expressing yourself and getting your name and or images out to the public eyes. Letting the general public analyze your images and getting up where ever you can, you can find stickers on the back of street signs, electric boxes, and magazine kiosks. Most importantly putting them up where no one has before. Some artists just collect stickers, some represent just themselves. But either way you look at it stickers have been accepted and will be displayed as a new wave art form. Some of the artists on the bill will be coming into Phoenix for the show. I could mention a few names, but you will have to attend or stay tuned to find out who’s who and from where. Some of the artists will be in attendance as well featured art by artists: Disposable Hero, Griffin One, Dumper Foo, Dr.Nuse 89’,Blurble, Hmph, Mad One, BigFoot1, 2Rabbits, Obey, Sike',Flying Fortress,Robots Will Kill and many many others. Come support the movement and be apart of local history and national attention!
